Newborn Lifestyle Session : I love being able to visit clients homes in those first moments with their new babies, especially when it is a friends that I have known since day 1. When she asked to do a lifestyle session, I was definitely more than happy to do it!

About Luka’s Newborn Lifestyle Session

Luka’s arrival was big. Besides having very excited parents, he also had 3 aunts, as well as two baby loving first time grandparents anxiously waiting to meet him. Just imagine that, first baby of four daughters.

When I arrived to the session Luka was cuddled up like a little ball in his dads arm. I had already heard rumors of how squishy and cuddly he was, and when I met him in person he did not disappoint. He is seriously the most cuddly guy I have ever seen. It was tempting to just pick him up and squeeze him… but,  I knew if I gave in to that no work was getting done.

Besides being so cuddly, Luka was also very sleepy! I believe he was awake for about 2 minutes the entire session.  His mom tried all the old tricks to wake him up, but he was not having it. It all worked out perfectly. We were able to capture his true essence in his first week of life, as well as how in love his parents already were.

Seeing a life long friend loving on her new baby was so rewarding. She has such a peaceful maternal instinct, and to be there and experience those moments with her left me with a great feeling.

Oh, and I also can not forget to mention Sadie the dog, she may argue she was the first child and decided there was no chance she would be left out of this session. 🙂
